History of HSL

Highfield Stronghold Limited is an Independent Procurement Consultancy and Strategist Company which was established in Nigeria in 1992 initially to provide comprehensive procurement assistance to the World Bank assisted agricultural development projects (ADPs), in areas of goods, civil works including related services and consultant’s recruitment services. This venture was embarked upon as a result of our great concern for the inability of project managers to effectively observe and apply the complex requirements of international procurement guidelines, resulting in poor draw down of funds and commitments arising from funds not disbursed.
HSL has since then been rapidly expanding its activities and now acts as a procurement consultant for IBRD, IDA, EEC, ACBF and ADB financed projects in various fields other than agriculture. Highly qualified professionals have been associated with the HSL office in line with growth, diversification, new developments and the demand for specialized skills, while HSL has acquired more skills, experience and new insights as a result of this synergy.
