Highfield Stronghold Ltd, prides in periodically updating knowledge and skills to achieve the dual basic objectives of:

  • Understanding best practices in procurement especially the World Bank’s Procurement Rules & Procedures under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits; and
  • Encouragement of local manufacturers and contractors to participate both in international and local procurement.

HSL in this regard offers scientific procurement guides and assistance to effectively and efficiently equip and expose project executives and staff to the procurement implementation process, with skills, knowledge, and attitudes to enable them to meet whatever practical challenges might come their way.

Our Human Resources Management Activities include:

  • Conducting formal lectures, which include hands-on procurement practice.
  • Conducting procurement seminars, workshops & training programs for specific IFI or World Bank assisted state projects and or the federal supporting units in the areas of health, agriculture, and education.
  • Participation as procurement expert and resource persons on World Bank/Federal Government supervision missions to a variety of development projects.
  • Conduct and management of Tutorial Courses to refresh update or strengthen existing knowledge.
  • Design of courses to include the understanding of the following:

    • Bid opening, evaluation, selection, and award of contracts.

    • Logical Framework/Approach to Project Development.
    • Loan/Credit Agreements.
    • Disbursement procedures and guidelines.
